Top 3 artists you may have not heard about.

With Youtube/Soundcloud and sites such as those, their is a vast amount of artists we have not heard. This is not like the 90’s where all of today’s music was a music store down you’re street. Now a days you could lurk these sites for hours and still be finding new and interesting artists. However you could also lurk these sites for hours and find garbage. So, to save you some time I compiled a list of 3 artists to take a look at.

Rich Chigga

Okay, if you would have told me I would be listening to an Indonesian rapping about doing drills; I would have slapped. But ill be dammed. This is really really good. The beat in this song is so different to what everyone is doing at the moment, but it has this grimy vibe that I think will never go out of style. Also, as I said before, flow>lyrics, and oh boy does Rich Chigga flow to this beat so damn well. However, the lyrics for it being a drill song, is also fine, think he could keep up with any trap/chiraq rapper in lyric content. Lets be honest it’s not that hard to rap about these stuff, anyone could do it. However what matters is the way you do it, delivery and flow should be the number one priority, also have something that sets you apart. My man, Rich Chigga has done just that, keep your ear out for Rich Chigga.

Nef the Pharaoh

The bay is back, and it’s back in a big way. Even though we have IAMSU! and his crew HBK  from the bay already making a big impact in the rap game. However I do not believe they have that original hyphy sound, which ” Neffy ” plus, IAMSU! is not from Vallejo, which to be honest, it’s the real bay, the bay Mac Dre, E40, Da Jacka come from. If you miss Mac Dre and E40 type of songs, this guy right here is your answer. I mean E40 already proclaimed him the next big thing from the west, and what ever E40 says, it goes. Stay tuned, because I honestly do thing he has a lot of potential. Give his songs one listen and I promise you, you’ll be hooked as I was hooked.

Madeintyo

Even though this was an artist to look out for, I want to take this time to discuss the new ” sub genre ” popping out. Which is suburban trap music. Uber Everywhere is just the perfect song to discuss this. See most rap fans are from the white males from the suburbs believe it or not, thus creating this gap between hood rappers and there fans. This is where suburban trap music comes into play. We see these videos popping out, from rappers no longer from ghettos/hoods. Also the songs are much more I wouldn’t say positive, but much more lively. Other rappers such as this are Trill Sammy, Uzi, Carti. See these rappers no longer come from the hood, but from regular suburban neighborhood. It’s going to take off, as Kanye West, Travis Scott, and Tory Lanez. However don’t be discouraged, by this being ” soft ” and just have a listen, the songs are actually catchy, and you’ll fine yourself vibing with the music.
